The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to the city and beautiful views from the hilltop. The staff was friendly and quick to assist with any requests. The onsite parking garage was convenient for those traveling with a car, and the European breakfast was delicious.

The lighting throughout the hotel was too bright and the atmosphere felt a bit sterile. The spa and pool area could have been cleaner, with limited space for changing.

My stay at Villa Maia was truly exceptional! The interior of the hotel had hints of French renaissance furniture, giving it an authentic yet modern feel. The terrace views from my room were breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful city. The minibar was constantly refilled for free, and the breakfast was sufficient. a great experience that I would highly recommend.

The nearby restaurant, Tetedoie, is a must-visit for anyone in Lyon, with some of the best vegetarian options in the city. The mini bar snacks were included in the room rate, which was a nice touch. our stay at Villa Maia was fantastic, and we would definitely choose to stay there again.
